 My project will follow an idea of a character that lives a life of grandeur. I have noticed that in many previous projects for this project, always include some sort of mysterious or sad background. A part or a personality of mine is that I always like to do things in a different way than others. As a result, I began to contemplate and entertain several concepts. The concept that I believe I will follow will have a budget, several set locations, and a general idea of story board. In this stage, I am planning out my how I will execute my project over time. This includes preproduction, scriptwriting, production, and post production.

The general time line for preproduction will be 28 days. While, most would consider this as too long of a time, I intend to buy crucial components to several shots. I also intend to buy costuming for this character. Considering the concept of a grandeur life, and my prior knowledge to the lifestyles of a successful person, I will most likely utilize simple clothing with a use of one to two items of significance. These most likely being a watch and a jacket of sorts. As for shots, I intend to buy and use a drone for aerial shots and master shots. It can even possibly be used for an establishing shot.

Script writing will be given the time line of 7 days. I believe this a good time period to write down the dialogue of the characters as well as plan the shots. I intend to use plenty of time for planning and writing several shots. I will need to create a plan that summarizes how I will make these shots possible as well. All the while I would need to consider the time I would be filming at for each shot.

During the production phase, I will give myself a time line of 14 days. This would be enough to shoot at several different locations as well. I intend to use on location shooting to give a maximum feel of environment to the audience. As well as maximum feel of  physical interaction with the environment. During this phase, i will utilize the story board planning for the shots and dialogue of the story.

Last but not least, the post production phase. The post production phase will have a time line of 7 days. This should give enough time for editing. Final cuts and peer reviews would also be in availability. 

My influence for this is the movie The Great Gatsby. This really highlights a sense of grandeur-esc environment. As a result, The opening of my movie will be a master shot followed by an ariel shot depicting a large area and giving the viewers a general idea of where this is. I intend for the audience to feel like they are viewing a person from a more successful background go about his life.
